The Pac-10 has entered a new phrase towards global dominance and took its first step by having a press conference in New York today. A win-win for the Pac-10 conference as it demonstrated to the rest of the nation that the West Coast do play football. Any press is good press and the Pac-10 will generate some within East Coast publications.
What do you think of the Pac-10 press conference on the East Coast?
The USC Trojans replaced the idiotic athletic director for a big hero. Pat Haden is the new athletic director for the Trojans and will replace Mike Garrett starting on next August 3rd.
And if you’re a fan of NCAA Football Betting, you should consider that Haden led the USC team to three Rose Bowl appearances back in the 70’s.
The new president of USC, Max Nikias, made the announcement of Garret’s replacement, in which he praised Garret for his work done at USC.
For his part, Mike Garrett won the 1965 Heisman Trophy as a tailback for USC and was a professional football player with the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Diego Chargers for eight seasons. In 1993, he became the athletic director at USC and will end his work with the Trojans this year.
The new director, Haden, was the USC Trojans quarterback before becoming a professional player in the NFL and then became an analyst for NBC during the Notre Dame games, the top rival of USC.
Haden did not arrive to the team at the right time, taking into account the scandals in which Reggie Bush and O.J. Mayo were involved.
And there is one thing for sure. If you break an NCAA rule, the consequences will not be easy.
However, this is a big challenge for Haden, who will have to be responsible of keeping an extremely clean football program in order to achieve good results in his new stage as a director.
DeAnthony Thomas, The Black Mamba, committed to USC. He brings a much needed boast to the running back position and could also play corner back. The Crenshaw star has one of the fastest 100 and 200 meters time in the nation. DeAnthony’s simply a stud. Scout.com and Rivals.com consider him to be one of the top running backs in the nation.
Are you excited as I am to see DeAnthony Thomas in cardinal and gold?

Here’s an interview with Cody:
What are you thoughts of the latest scholarship offer?
